Josh Arnold’s music is commercial and infectious yet maintains an artistic integrity. His eclectic Pop and Acoustic styles have been the result of more than a decade of musical endeavours. Through the aid of his extremely versatile studio partner Jason Millhouse, Josh’s song writing is embellished with impeccable and inspirational production. The pair have mutual respect, understanding and ability to build on a song and unleash its full potential.
Josh signed to ABC/Mushroom Music Publishing at age 19 before releasing 3 studio Albums with ABC/Universal Music. The releases resulted in positive press and media across the country and Josh being awarded a Golden Guitar at the national Country Music Awards in Tamworth. The songs from the Albums received regional airplay across Australia as well as Triple J, Nova FM, Hot FM and Music Max. His music also featured in 3 of Australia’s leading TV Drama’s Neighbours, Home and Away and City Homicide which followed a successful appearance on Channel Seven’s Sunrise.
In 2008 Josh recorded 'Skeletons' which drew the attention of the LA Music Supervision company 'Crucial Music' who synced the track on the world renowned TV Hit Series Ghost Whisperer.
Then in 2009 Josh co-write and produced the powerful song 'Alive' for the National Drive For Life Organisation as well as completing an Album for Aboriginal songwriter, Robert Wharton. Josh wrote and performed on the classic Reggae/Roots song from the LP entitled 'Dreaming' which has since received national regional airplay.

Josh is currently writing songs with the student’s at several Schools in Southern Queensland with incredible results. Not only have the songs been some of the best he's written, but creating the songs has been an unforgettable experience for the children. Through the ideas of the class which are generally curriculum based, Josh writes a song with the students step by step. These creative music workshops in schools are aimed at lifting the spirits of the children through emotional engagement by working together to create their very own song. He recently produced a full Album called 'Cultures in Harmony' with Newtown State School in Toowoomba whose story is featured in a short documentary titled 'One World'.
In 2011 Josh also recorded an Album involving songs from 13 local Toowoomba schools with the proceeds going to the Toowoomba Children’s Hospital Appeal. He also recorded an Album dedicated to the Toowoomba Flood Recovery. The Album involves children from 7 schools including Yarraman and Oakey schools. All 3 of these Albums are now available on i-Tunes. Josh also spent 2 weeks at Ampilatwatja School, a remote Aboriginal Community in the Northern Territory.
In 2012 Josh is writing and producing 2 studio Albums with Tara State College and Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School. The Album with Tara State College will mark the 100th Anniversary of the school which Josh attended as a boy. He will also be continuing his work with other schools and children throughout Queensland including Cunnamulla and Quilpie State Schools.
